Welcome to The Table
The Table is a place to gather around food, Scripture, honest conversation, worship, and prayer. We’re here to encounter Jesus, make room for one another, and discover what restoration and following Him can look like in our everyday lives. Pull up a chair. There’s room for you here.
Around the Table
Each week, we’ll gather around a shared conversation that invites us to look more closely at Jesus, ourselves, and what it means to follow Him.

Seeing Jesus Clearly
Before we consider what it means to surrender, we begin by looking again at Jesus—beyond assumptions, experiences, disappointments, or distorted pictures we may have carried. “But you,” he asked them, “who do you say that I am?” — Matthew 16:15 CSB

Preparing for the Altar
Before we can offer our lives, we have to be willing to look honestly at what we’re bringing with us—our hearts, motives, wounds, fears, desires, attachments, patterns, and the places we’ve kept protected. This week, we’ll make room for honest personal inventory before God. “Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my concerns. See if there is any offensive way in me; lead me in the everlasting way.” — Psalm 139:23–24 CSB

Approaching the Altar
As we draw closer to the altar, the questions become more personal. What does surrender really mean? What are we willing to entrust to God—and what are we still holding tightly? Together, we’ll explore trust, fear, control, cost, and what it means to willingly yield our lives to Him. Romans 12:1–2 (CSB) — We’ll explore this passage in its full context as we consider what it means to offer our lives to God.

Consecration: The Offered Life
Consecration is more than placing something on the altar; it is recognizing that we are the offering. Together, we’ll explore what it means for surrender to become more than a moment—to shape our identity, our choices, and the way we live each day. Galatians 2:20 (CSB) — We’ll consider this verse within its full context as we explore what it means to live a life wholly surrendered to Christ.
What to Expect
The Table is designed to be participatory, beginning with a shared meal and time to connect, get to know one another, and build relationships around the table. After the meal, we’ll worship together and share a short corporate Bible study that establishes the Scriptural foundation and central theme for the evening. That foundation will carry into smaller table conversations, creating space for everyone to listen, share, ask questions, and contribute as we explore the evening’s theme together. We’ll conclude with prayer and time to respond to what has surfaced through Scripture, conversation, and community.

Stay Awhile
There’s no need to rush out. Stay for conversation, prayer, dessert, or simply more time around the table.
The Conversation
At each table, a small deck of conversation cards invites us to linger a little longer with the evening’s Scripture and explore what it might mean in our own lives.
Each person will have an opportunity to choose a card that catches their attention, read it aloud, and open the conversation it brings to the table. From there, everyone is invited in—to share a story, offer a perspective, wrestle with a question, or simply listen. When the conversation feels complete, someone else chooses a card and carries us into the next one. There’s no need to make it through the deck.
We’re not here to finish the cards; we’re here to make room for what unfolds around the table.

How We Hold the Table
Meaningful conversation asks something of all of us. The Table is a place for honesty, curiosity, grace, and the kind of listening that makes room for another person’s story. We don’t have to agree on everything, have the right answer, or know how to fix what someone else is carrying. We simply agree to hold the space well.
What’s shared at the table stays at the table.
Honor the trust someone places in the room by protecting their story.
Listen to understand, not to fix.
Make room for someone to finish their thought without rushing to advise, correct, diagnose, or solve.
Make room for every voice.
Share honestly, but leave space for others to enter the conversation too.
Speak from your own story.
Offer your experience and perspective without telling someone else what they should think, feel, or do.
You can always pass.
Depth is invited, never demanded. No one owes the table a part of their story they aren’t ready to share.
Ask before offering prayer or ministry.
A simple, “Would you like us to pray with you about that?” honors both the person and the moment.
Know when something needs more room.
Some stories are too tender, complex, or personal for a group conversation. If something surfaces that needs additional care, we’ll help make space for it.
Carry grace with you.
We may arrive at the table from very different places. We can be truthful, ask difficult questions, and even disagree while continuing to treat one another with dignity and care.

The Care Table
Sometimes a conversation opens something that needs more space than the table can hold. The Care Table is a protected place for those moments, offering privacy, experienced ministry, prayer, and help discerning what may be needed next. If something surfaces that feels especially tender, heavy, or difficult to navigate within the group, simply let us know. You don’t have to explain it publicly, and you don’t have to carry it alone.
Need More Room?
Sometimes a conversation stays with us—or opens something that deserves more time, care, and attention than an evening around the table can provide. If that happens, you’re invited to schedule a free Clarity Conversation with Lisa. It’s simply a place to talk about what surfaced, consider what support might be helpful, and discern a next step together. No pressure. No obligation. Just room for the conversation to continue.
Take It With You
What begins around The Table can continue throughout the week. Here you’ll find resources connected to each gathering—Scripture to revisit, questions for deeper reflection, and practical ways to continue exploring what God is revealing, restoring, and forming in your life.
